Frequently
Asked Questions
No signal or picture
When setting up your system, make sure your projector is turned on and a
blank image is being projected. Next, turn your computer on. If you have a
laptop you may need to disable the display screen on your computer. Now
locate the function key on your keypad which reads “LCD”,
“CRT” or it may have a computer-like icon. Next press the FN
key and the correct function key and you will get the image from the
projector only.
Screen is scrolling/only
getting a partial image
In most cases this is caused because the computer’s and
projector’s resolution are not completely compatible. All you need to
do is adjust the resolution on the computer so it is compatible with the
projector’s. This can be done in Windows by going into the main
window, double clicking on the Window Setup option and choosing Change
Systems Settings in the options menu. Now choose Display and change the
setting to match that of the projector. If problems continue, run the
picture on the projector screen only.
When I turn on my
projector it won’t work
What to do: First check the outlet the projector is plugged into for power.
Next, check to make sure the bulb hasn’t burned out. Check if there
is an "indicator" or "status" LED light on the control
panel. If there is a light and it is flashing, check the owner’s
manual.
My remote control does not
work
First check the batteries. Next, make sure that there are no obstructions
between the remote and the projector.
